School life
Exhibitions and social service
Science and art exhibitions, house displays and the community work pupils take on each session.
Showing the work
An exhibition is an examination with an audience
Each session pupils prepare working models, charts and displays for the school exhibition. Preparing something that must stand up to a visitor's questions teaches a different discipline from writing an answer for a marker.
Alongside this the school runs social service projects: cleanliness drives, collections for those in need and visits arranged with local institutions. Participation counts toward house points, but the point of it is not the points.
