The general rules of the school: attendance, uniform, conduct, property, leave and the conditions on which a pupil remains on the rolls.
General
Rules every pupil is held to
Admission to the school is taken as acceptance of these rules by the pupil and the parents.
- 01Pupils attend on every working day. Absence is explained in writing by the parent or guardian on the day of return.
- 02The prescribed uniform is worn correctly on all school days, and the games uniform on games days. Hair, nails and shoes are kept tidy.
- 03Pupils reach school before assembly. Habitual lateness is reported to the parents.
- 04Courtesy to staff, to visitors and to one another is expected at all times, on the campus and on the way to and from school.
- 05Damage to school property, furniture, books or equipment is made good by the pupil concerned.
- 06Valuables, mobile telephones and money beyond immediate need are not brought to school. The school takes no responsibility for their loss.
- 07No pupil leaves the campus during school hours except on a written request from the parent, countersigned by the Principal.
- 08Leave of absence is applied for in advance, in writing, and is granted at the discretion of the Principal.
- 09A minimum attendance is required to sit the promotion examinations, in line with Council requirements.
- 10Names are removed from the rolls for prolonged unexplained absence or for conduct the Principal judges harmful to the school.
- 11Withdrawal requires a calendar month's written notice. Transfer certificates are issued once all dues are cleared.
- 12The Principal's decision is final in all matters of discipline.
